Trams are not ADA standard so be very careful because the attendants are not attentive at all to passengers in need of a little assistance. Oh, and they DO allow you to bring in your own food & drinks, so you don't have to pay their excessive prices if you want to stay on a budget. But I do think that most people are pleased with the park. Add in some closed/removed rides from the Seaside Junction and Tavas Jungleland, and it does seem like the park is seriously downsizing their ride collection. Hurricane Harbor New Jersey The water park has announced an expansion of Splash Island a new tree-house play structure with over 50 features curtain waterfalls and a water bucket and 7 new slides: Cowabunga, Jellyfish Twist, Ripcurl, Shark Attack, Splashin’ Seal and Stingray Racer. So bottom-line, in regard to customer service, rides, shows, and overall general appeal for the whole family, I must say that Six Flags is not on the same scale as Disneyland (even though the prices are on the same scale). Just to let you know, I lived in Southern California for quite a while, so when it comes to large-scale theme parks, my expectations are very high, especially considering that I'm spending a rather large chunk of money on admission, food, extra attractions, etc. But if those kinds of rides don't suit you, then I don't think it's worth the money.
And if you like to spin, there are lots of rides to make you "toss your cookies" over and over again. If you like roller coasters, I think you will love this place, because their roller coasters looked very exciting. Find the longest and shortest lines here, instantly. Most of the rides were either large roller coasters or spinning rides. Live waiting times and ride closures for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, updated directly from the park. I think most people would be quite pleased with Six Flags, but for my children (aged 7 and 10), who are not huge risk takers, there was not a lot of rides that interested them.
